Beautiful, quaint wine / pub in the historic city gate, very good food, great wines from local winemakers, "world's best Saumagen '', Pia cooks and Alfred is host, that's how it works.

Very good rump steak with really tasty roasted onions and great fried potatoes. In addition fantastic wheat beer from the region. Very nice and interesting historical ambience in the tower of the old city gate. The landlord is extremely friendly and very accommodating. All in all, definitely highly recommended and a place to come back.
